Accessibility

CraftAble works with artists with disabilities, so this website has to work for everyone who reads it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the element in focus is always clearly marked.
• A “Skip to content” link lets screen-reader and keyboard users go straight to the page content.
• Text and background colours meet the contrast levels the guidelines require.
• Every image of a person has a text description.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations on this site switch off.
• The site works without JavaScript. The animations and the copy button need it; the content does not.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
• The site is available in English and Portuguese.
